CALL for REGISTRATION

We would like to announce two important issues for suwama 2013.

- First, please note that the deadline for early registration is 06 April 2012. You may not miss the option of 50% reduction in registration fee!

- Second, themes of the Conference were enriched as given below:

  • Good watershed management practices: Case studies and examples from various countries including lessons learned from implementation of both successful and deficient management scenarios
  • Decision support tools: Monitoring, GIS, data / information management, indicators, ecological economics, cost/benefit analysis, decision making models, legislation and policies, participatory methods / water user partnerships, and criteria to evaluate / assess watershed management implementation
  • Models: Integrated environmental model applications for management including watershed, air-shed, coastal, and living resource models
  • Trans-boundary environmental issues: Air   pollution, climate change, coastal oceans at regional, continental, and global scales
  • Global watershed sustainability: Establishment of Sustainable Use Watershed Management Seal of Excellence Award initiativethat recognizes outstanding programs worldwide
