Dr. Dursun Zafer Seker is a full professor in ITU, Istanbul Technical University, Civil Engineering Faculty, Department of Geodesy and Photogrammetry. He got his bachelor, master and PhD degrees from the same university.His researches and studies are mostly related to GIS, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. He currently works on using GIS and Remote Sensing on the Environmental Issues, GIS Based Coastal Zone Management, Watershed Management and Documentation of Cultural Heritage.
He has more than 30 SCI paper, around 10 research paper published in Turkish Journals, more than 100 papers which were presented in the International Conference and Symposium and more than 50 papers presented in the National Organizations.
He worked in many projected related to environment and GIS. He is also working as reviewer in many national and international journal related to Geomatics and Environment. He has been charged as the member of scientific committee member.
